Code of Conduct

BloodGuard is a part of the SWAT-Portal and belongs to the most successful Freelancer-Clans. That’s why every member has to accept and follow these rules. To be a member of the BloodGuard, means, that you must act with honor and bravery.

§1 cheating

Cheating is a serious violation of honor and trust, and is strictly prohibited. If a member of SWAT is proven to be a cheater, (screenshots are needed as piece of evidence), he will be immediately banned in dishonor from SWAT!

§2 double clan membership

We don’t allow our members to be part of another clan. Only if under special circumstances i.e. a spy mission, our members are able to join in another clan. If a member of SWAT is proven to have a double membership, it has to choose ONE clan, or, if it is an undercover spy, he will immediately banned from SWAT.

§3 recruitments

Due to security reasons, all recruitments of new members need explicit permission from the leader of this section or a SWAT-coordinator. However, all members of SWAT are requested to make advertisements and to ask talented new players to join the Portal.

§4 testing period

All new members of SWAT have to solve a testing period of 4 weeks to check their presence and general behavior. During this period, forum access is restricted to open areas like Support, SWAT-Portal meeting point and the open message boards. After the testing period they'll get access to the internal forum, too.

§5 meetings

Meetings are regularly once a week, on Sunday. Additionally, every full member of BG (no Cadet's) is allowed to request a special meeting (in agreement with the leaders). Start of meeting is between 20:00h and 20:15h MET. Participation off all members in the meetings is a must. Repeated absence from meetings without an excuse (3x) will lead to a warning. If a member isn't able to come to a meeting, he can post a message in the forum so he can inform us of the absence. If someone cannot perform his duty for a period of time (i.e.: holidays) or has to report to the wing leader, and the clan leader, so the transfer to the veteran wing can be made.

§6 training

Training times are listed at the time scheduler on the page or can be asked from the training personal. Participation in the training is (min. once a week) the pilot’s duty. Repeated, unexcused absence (3x) will lead to a warning. Additionally, ALL pilots are requested to play and practice with the cadets as much as possible to help them getting experience and to relieve the regular training personnel. If a member isn't able to visit training, a message in the forum is a necessity.

§7 general behavior

We are one squad, one community! One for ALL and ALL for ONE! Ok, there always may appear some small difficulties, but if you can't get around them, there's always help from your wing leader, and, if he can't help, from the section leaders, available. Punishments can only be done by Stuff (the leaders and the chief training officers). A warning is active for a period of 3 months before expiring; if you receive another warning within the 3 months, counter is reset, with the new punishment. There are maximal 2 warnings; the second one is combined with a demotion (one rank below). Receiving a third warning before expiring date, you will be dishonored discharge from SWAT.

§8 community communications

Every member has to install MIRC and the Microsoft Messenger (MSN). MSN is our main communication terminal. For discussions there are two boards within the SWAT-Portal Forum: the open board and the internal board. The internal board is reserved to confidential themes. So you better don't spam there! The open board is free for all themes.

§9 No killing in Liberty systems

Whoever kills anybody in Liberty will get punished. Its not allowed opening fire on other BG-members in New York. (A Portal-Administrator or a Section leader can disable this rule for a specified time)

§10 Language

This is an international clan so the main-language is English. Write English on the forum and the chat.

§11 Clantag

The BG_tag is a privilege, not everybody can wear it. The person who wears the BG_tag is more special than other people. If you don't show up to play, you're not worthy of wearing the BG_Tag.
Showing up in the forum and on MSN or ICQ DOES NOT MEAN YOU'RE ACTIVE. You need to play the game to wear the BG_Tag and show yourself and kick ass. If you're not here (in game) to wear the tag you're not worthy of being in the clan.

§12 behavior as a member of BG

BloodGuard is a professional clan and that is how we going to act. The clan tag should be worn with pride and the members work as a team.

The SWAT-Portal Administrator reserve his right to change or to expand these rules.
